Short history about recombined milk
Originally, recombined milk products were developed to supply the US military forces during World War ll. However, in the 1950s, regions of the world with limited fresh milk such as Japan, Southeast Asia, the middle East, Africa, South America and central America quickly implemented this technology to provide dairy products for the general public.
As with any dairy product, it is critical that ingredients with the proper and correctly microbiological sensory and functional attributes is used in reconstituted milk and dairy products. It is also essential that manufacturing conditions is rightfully established and controlled to ensure consistency in the attributes of the finished and homogeneous product.
Recombined milk is a great solution for countries where milk is scarce. The white powder still contain all the vitamins and proteins as in non recombined milk.
